Dreamforce comes back to San Francisco at the Moscone Center from September 20–22, 2022.

Salesforce Winter ’23: Release timeline
While the Dreamforce takes place in September, the Winter ’23 release silently makes its entry right in the month of August.
As per Salesforce’s rolling calendar for Releases, it is time to get ready for the Winter ’23 release.
So, prep up your Sandbox to get early access to all the features of Winter ’23 and ensure smooth functioning before these features reach Production.
Main weekend release and Sandbox preview dates for you to make note of
August 11: Sign up for a pre-release org to try, test, and get comfortable with the features and functionality.
August 17: Preview Release Note goes live. Head to Salesforce Help to scan the notes.
August 25: Make sure to have an active Sandbox preview instance to try out features related to your customizations in your sandbox before the scheduled Production release.
August 26 and 27: The features you have earmarked after testing will be upgraded in Sandbox.
August 26: The Release will be Live September 9, October 7 & October 14, and 15: First release weekend, Second release weekend, and Final release weekend respectively, Interestingly, this year there will be a special one-hour session on Winter ’23 Release at Dreamforce 2022 from September 20 to 22.
